More or less is this still the preferred way to do a backup SMTP for notifications?
1) Create a separate SMTP Notification for each of the two SMTP servers. 2) Create a Group Notification and add the two SMTP notifications created in step 1) above. The first alert name in the list should be for your preferred SMTP server. Select the "Notify First Member" button. 3) Associate this Group Notification with devices on your maps. Thus, all alerts will be sent to your preferred SMTP server, unless it is itself down, in which case the alerts will "escalate" and be delivered to the secondary server.
