Dave,

Like yourself I had a common concern. I found you can set your own
threshold for alerts. You can set it to any number you wish. Hope this
helps.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] WUG web interface question

Hi all - I'm currently evaluating WUG and have a question about the web
interface. The majority of the devices I'm mapping/polling are remote
cisco
vpn appliances, the icmp polling packets are going through the vpn
tunnel
over the internet. As we know, the internet is not a vacuum so if 1, 2,
or
3 sequential polling packets timeout, I'm not all that concerned. Is
there
a way to tell the web interface, hey, don't start the notification
(siren,
map underlining/color change) until the device has missed 4 sequential
polling attempts?

Thanks
