is exactly what I was after when I suggested, that each node should be an object
which could be reused in multiple maps. I strongly believe, that this is the way
it should go. Unfortunately, it comes with a bit of an architectural change. So,
don't hold your breath.
As for
the current way of working. Each device on a particular map is a
unique entity and has no connection to any other device (simply put).
Changing attributes of a device does change them on just this single device. You
can change attrributes on multiple selected devices, but this is not what you
were after.
