Betreff: [WhatsUp Forum] WhatsUpGold 8.01 memory leak!!!
Hello
Recently our
copy of WhatsUp ver 8.0 on Windows 2000 had started experiencing performance
problems. We traced it down to the WhatsUp process eating up loads of
memory, in the area of 500mb of memory for about 10 maps with about 10 hosts on
each map. It all of a sudden starts to eat memory and will not stop until
the server totally locks up. We have another instance of WhatsUp ver 8.0
on an NT4 server with 30 maps and much more hosts, and its memory usage never
goes about 150mb. We upgraded our WhatsUp on the W2K server to ver 8.01 in
hopes it would fix the memory problem, but with no luck. Anyone experience
this problem. Thanks
