I came across several reqirements for a more detailed uptime report which can be used for SLA monitoring. Actually, a few customers have asked about a database where the accumulated stats are collected, so they can compile SLA reports over a custom time frame.
 
Now, a database for the statistcs repository would be fine. Since WUG runs on Windows, MSDE and SQL Server would be OK. Perhaps, any ODBC one would do.
 
The mostly used report is the outage report, followed by the "Day of the week" and the "Detail" report. I am not sure whether someone uses the Std.Deviation column. An UpTime percentage for each column, foe each device and a total would be fine. 
 
I know, you have not ask for it. I have another feature request which came up several times. The WUG event system is quite sophisticated. What is missing (my opinion), is a console and web view of all events. Something like a dashboard, where triggered events are displayed and could be acknowledged. This kind of capability is currently only be served by third parties outside of WUG.

    2. Which report layouts do you find most effective?
    3. How [for what purpose] do you generally use reports?
    4. What types of reports do you need that you're not getting?
