Hah! Too funny! I did the exact same thing last night when I installed the latest hotfix. Went to check my notifications (thru the notification view) .... She's a disappear!! Turned out to be a view setting
Open up the application, I don't think you can do this from the web gui. Go to Configure -> Program Options You'll see some settings on the left Select View Settings And check the map views you want to see when the application is open.
