You may be able to monitor the process through snmp, but the oid may change each time it is restarted.

The application runs as start-up program from the console and can't be run as a service. Is there a way via SNMP to monitor the application? Or third-party program? At the least I need to be able to monitor if the application is running or hung. A bonus would be to be able to monitor the amount of memory and CPU time being used by the application.
