Hi Everyone We have a whatsup gold running on 2kserver that sends it's alert through a sendmail prog.
If the Ethernet "internet connection" goes down we need a dial up connection to our ISP be established to send the email alerts while the Ethernet interface continues to monitor the servers on the intranet. This will allow us to still receive alerts on the status of our servers in the case of a virus outbreak that brings down our Ethernet internet connection.
