In order to reduce those types of messages, you need to change the facility level on the PIX so that your not getting connection state type traps.  I had it enabled on an enterprise pix and was getting 1 GIG of data per day....NASTY!

Anyways, change the fac and logging levels on the PIX to show errors and above....i am not near my notes, but i believe fac level 3 is good enough, should cover errors and up. You currently probably have it at level 7 debugging.

Hi
Is there any way to filter out unwanted SNMP traps from showing up on a devices log status?  When I click on a my pix firewall, it shows all sorts of SNMP traps saying UDP connection torn down...etc. and I don't what these displayed in whatsup.  Thanks
