I don't know what environment you'll be operating in, or what technologies you have available, but for my network I would look at the RADIUS issue in a manner similar to the response you received for DHCP. I would set-up a DSL modem to authenticate via RADIUS. I would then set-up a RADIUS record that would assign a specific IP address on a 5-minute lease to that modem. I would then poll the address of the modem. If the poll fails you know that RADIUS is not successfully authenticating. Tim Loecher Telephone Electronics Corp.
