I have two Cisco Cat6ks attached to one
another via an Ethernet to ATM bridge (rfc 1483). I don’t own the bridges (the local Man
provider does) – but my Cat 6ks see each other via CDP, and think they
are directly adjacent. I want to alarm if the link goes down, but
can’t quite figure out how to do it with WUG. I think I need to process
an SNMP trap event, but I’m not quite sure how to get the 6ks to send a
trap out on a CDP adjacency loss and how WUG should process this. Anybody do this (use WUG to process a CDP
adjacency loss?) TIA. |
