There are a few was to do this. 1. (The easiest way) Edit the device details asp page to include a link anywhere you want it. You can use IP or name to make the link dynamic bases off of the device. This is great because you make it once and it is on all the devices. This also keeps the fields open for more important data. However, you would have to base the link name off of WUG data, and you would want the link to be usable for most devices. You can use the asp to set the link only for certain device types.
2. You can export your maps to XML or INI. Then edit the files and import. 3. You can create a custom asp page that will set the field you want. Then use a URL get or POST command to preform the edit. Hope this help. -----Original Message----- >From: "brandon.baker" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Sent: 12/15/03 2:29:31 PM >To: "'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Write data to a devices Info1 line from an external source > >Is there a way to write information to a devices info1 line from an external script. > >I would like to create a perl script to dynamically write graph urls to the info line.
