Title: Quick Status takes forever...

If you enable the archive feature, only the current week should be in the logs directory.  All archives will be under logs\archive.

Jason,

How many EV-yyyy-mm-dd.tab files do you have in your Log directory? (See Configure | Program Options | Logging | Advanced for path)

WhatsUp Gold is parsing all logs to show data in the Quick status Log view for that device.

Try changing your log directory to another directory that does not have any EV files and see if you are able to right click and load Quick Status immediately.

This behavior is usually the case when there are no Log Management done and EV files just pile up after a while.

Hi
Any ideas on this problem I'm having when I right click a host in the console and click on Quick Status...it takes 2-4 minutes for this window to load and the CPU load of this box is not rising at all during this time....and also, once the quick status loads and I check the log ( I figured must be a huge log file) but there is only 5-20 events being shown...hrmmm....any others with this problem.  Thanks.
