You'd have to manually reconfigure each device by unchecking the monitoring option, or alert option.
I'd just close it while you do the maintenance for an easy fix... Just make sure to turn it back on when you're done with the maintenance! ;-)

We have a two hour maintenance window on Thursdays.  I would like for Whatsup Gold to not monitor our network during those two hours because we get tons of email alerts.  I looked at the monitoring part of a device and I didn't see a place where you could make a change like this.  Is there a way to do this or should we just close the program instead?  Thanks for the help.
