You can grab the contents of other web pages  using Perl, but an easier
way would be to use a language called Rebol; less than 700KB, and you
don't have to install it simply have the executable in the same
directory as your script.  You can accomplish this in about four lines
of code.  Go to www.rebol.com <http://www.rebol.com/> .   If you don't
have 30 minutes to an hour to get the basics of Rebol, I will send you
an example, once you say you have looked at it.

Greetings all:
Like other folks, I maintain an MS database with detailed equipment
information that is handy when troubleshooting. I have played around
with the devicedetails.asp page and successfully made links to an ASP
page on an IIS server with the device name to display the appropriate
data. However, I was wondering if anyone had found a way to include this
information directly in the devicedetails.asp page instead of a link.
Unfortunately, the WUG web server will not process SQL queries and,
according to the WUG support folks, there are no plans to add that
functionality anytime soon.
 
Is there a way to do this with Javascript so the browser would grab the
ASP page and include it when parsing the devicedetails page? Any hints
would be greatly appreciated.
