If everything was on a map and you didn't have other devices on the map you could unload the map. Then when the work was done you could reload the map. It would be nice if IPSwitch had this kind of calendaring or a command line tool to load and unload maps. However I have been doing stuff like this for a while now by using the web pages.

If you shut down the map then you will not have a trace of the up/down events in the log. In other words still allow the map to show the item down but disable the alerts (other than visual) during that window.
