hi
We are new in this forum and have iterests in monitoring Unix processes in our machines.
We have WUG v8.0.1 running just for basic monitoring tasks and we're just about to push our WUG for more advance monitoring functions.
Would you pls inform us what we should have (and do) to be able to monitor Unix processes ?
Thanks for any info.

is what I had in mind... and I'd have no objections to using
net-snmp to get the job done..... BUT....
As processes spawn and die (whether through SIG_TERM or other means),
the OIDs are going to change. The end result is that I don't have a
consistent entity to monitor that guarantees the associated process is
what I expect.
