I have version 8 of WUPG and we use it to monitor several routers and also the internet router. What we need to do is to set up a way that when the internet router goes down, the WUPG can deliver SMTP messages using a dialup connection.
Steps: 1- WUPG monitors internet router and internal servers 2- If any internal server goes down, WUPG uses the existing internet (T1) connection to deliver smtp messages to inform of failure. 3- If internet router goes down we want WUPG to establish a dialup connection, then send the messages telling us that the internet router went down.
