I've seen that before.  If you have more traffic on the T1 that is "good" then the ICMP traffic will always be dropped since it is marked as discard eligible by the routers.  I've in the past and now use services to check my routers and remote sites since the ICMP can give false downs easily.  Give that a try.

I am attempting to monitor connectivity of one of my T1 lines.  I am trying to do it by monitoring the router on the other end of the line.  I can open a command prompt and ping 10.0.5.254 no problem.  I then go to my map, add a new router, and tell it to monitor ICMP by the IP address.  It comes back telling me that it is down.  Any ideas?
