maybe there is a solution by saving the map as an xml-document. find-and-replace every "<PollOnlyIfThisIsUp>device-id</PollOnlyIfThisIsUp>" ith the accurate device-id. you can even paint a line to the dependent device by replacing "<LineTo0>device-id</LineTo0>" too

Bob, there's no other way.  Maybe something ipswitch can look at and add it to their future release.

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Selecting multiple hosts for dependency

Hello Everyone,

I've just purchased WhatsUp Gold, 8.03.  Loving the product so far.  But, is there a way I can select multiple objects and set a dependency?  I have about 100 servers and I'm getting carpal tunnel selecting them individually.

Any suggestions?

Thanks...Bobby
