Martin, I've only seen a 'Slow Network' setting in NET TOOLS... Is that what you were thinking?
FWIW, I kept getting the same type of problem (intermittent false positives) from WUG 7.x/8.x and to resolve the issue, I upped the default SMTP time to 30 seconds, but you could go longer if you really had to (if you 'had to', I'd be looking at why like Daniel mentioned). You can modify just the SMTP timeout without affecting any other timeouts from 'Configure' - 'Monitors & Services'. See if that doesn't solve your issue as well. ------------------------------------------------------------ Bryan Harrell, SPII Network Transport & Administration - Tallahassee Fla. Do you have any suggestions how to implement this in WuG 7? (Sorry, we haven't updated yet to WuG 8) Kind regards Martin Herrgesell SP Informationstechnologiezentrum Windmhlgasse 26 1060 Wien Tel. +43 1 53427 490 mobil +43 664 532 51 67 Fax +43 1 53427 236 eMail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
