Hopefully this will solve the issue.

Do you think there is a possibility someone may have had more than on
instance of what's up gold running at anytime on that box?  If so, that
could be the cause of the problem.  I know in the older versions, if
that happened issues would arise.  In later versions, a registry setting
prevented the running of more than one instance.  If you even remotely
suspect this could have happened, reboot the box.

Other than that, when I have seen those issues arise, it is usually
something actually going on, someone multicasting where and when they
should not be, or config.
