Hopefully this will solve the issue. Do you think there is a possibility someone may have had more than on instance of what's up gold running at anytime on that box? If so, that could be the cause of the problem. I know in the older versions, if that happened issues would arise. In later versions, a registry setting prevented the running of more than one instance. If you even remotely suspect this could have happened, reboot the box.
Other than that, when I have seen those issues arise, it is usually something actually going on, someone multicasting where and when they should not be, or config. :) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Ryan Rodden Sent: Wednesday, June 16, 2004 11:03 AM To: whatsup forum Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] false alerts 2 Thanks, but that really is about as valuable a response as ip$witch's support program. :( Ryan Rodden Packetworks Inc www.packetworks.net [EMAIL PROTECTED] (519) 579-4507 main office M-F 8-5 Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
