does anybody know
how the windows event log monitoring is working? in case: we're monitoring
systems behind a firewall, and we realized a huge amount of inbound traffic for
our WuG-system. Maybe WuG configures the machine behind the firewall similar to
snmp-traps to /send/ the event log entries to our machine (via WMI)? This would
explain the absence of windows log events if the firewall is filtering every
inbound traffic except snmp traps.
