I am pretty sure that you need to use the integrated WUG server in order to use the ASP tags provided by What's Up.
They are not ASP as developed by Microsoft and supported by Apache thus they cannot work on servers that support Active Server Pages. You can however, cleverly integrate the two so that they look like one website. The HTML tag IFRAME comes to mind ;) Thanks, Steve Warnock Advanced Computer Connections 419-668-4080 -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jim Ruddell Sent: Wednesday, July 14, 2004 3:50 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Scripting in WUG ASP pages I'm trying to create some ASP pages and incorporate scripting language but have had no success. As a matter of fact I can't get Apache to recognize the script tags (<% script here %>. I haven't hacked the apache conf files but there must be a way to get scripting support in WUG ASP pages. What I'm trying to do is Email a list of devices where monitoring is turned off. I can get a list using the WUG tags but don't understand why I can't use common ASP type server side scripting tags. Any one ever gotten it to work? Cheers, Jim Ruddell Network and Systems Engineer Mi Services Group 900 West Valley Rd.
