Hi,

I had a similar problem: I had to check the filecount of an Directory.
The way I did it was to write a simple VB-Script which counts the files and if the
Filecount is oversteped it sends a Syslogmessage the my Whatsup-Server. The
Syslogmessage is sent using a small DLL from http://www.netal.com/clsl12.htm . The
VB-Script is scheduled using "Scheduled Tasks".

I'm not sure if it's possible to map a drive with VB-Script, but I think so.....

Betreff: [WhatsUp Forum] How to map a network drive and see if it was successful

Hi!

Does anyone know how to map a network drive and see if it was successful in WUG? I
would like to call a batch file (using a net use command) and see if "The command
completed successfully." was returned.

Thanks!
