the predefined http-service is _not_ a windows nt service... it can't be restarted. but you could monitor the iis-service itself (should be w3svc or something like that) and with an administrative account you are able to restart it

Is there a way to get a predefined service to auto-restart on failure?  I am trying to make it so that if IIS dies on a server, I can have it start up again automatically.  I am currently monitoring it by using the predefined HTTP service.

Thanks,
