Some beepers are not compatible, I ran into this problem and learned the
hard way

You can make it work for a while by changing the baud rate

the best is to change the beeper ;

Okay Bryan, sorry that I misunderstood what you were asking ;-)..I have
installed the patches and still nothing. I have configured it exactly
how the manual said to do. I've deleted the notification and readded it
several times. The modem works, my beeper works, the system works, but
not all together :)

OK, that tells us "when" you need to be beeped, but not "how it's
configured".... With that info, maybe the forum hosts can help you
figure it out.

BTW, I'd also like to suggest applying the v8.03 HF1 patch to see if it
was something that was fixed after v8.0 was released which broke your
paging.

I need to be beeped once in the morning @ 8am, once @4 pm, during the
weekdays and once @12 on the weekends. Of course when my devices go down
I need to know. Now I can't get the first beeper notification for
anything. All of this happened after I upgraded to WUG v.8

Exactly how are you trying to set up the notifications?
