Ok - I have definitely replicated an issue here.

We have dual Whatsup Gold Servers - one in each of our Data Centers and
we keep them synchronized several times weekly with Perl scripts.

WUP-A is running an WindowsLog Event check and has been getting into a
stale state wherein it no longer "sees" the Event Log.

I just added the same event to WUP-B after I had thought that WUP-A got
into a stale mode checking the WinEvent Log of a particular Domain
Controller.

At that point I trigger the Windows Event that should cause the alert.
The newly applied WUP-B saw the event and alerted. WUP-A, which was in
its stale state, did not see the event.

When I restart WUP-A's Whatsup Gold service (which kills and restarts
the 4 processes involved in Whatsup - WhatsUpG.exe, wugsvc.exe,
SnmpEvnt.exe, WinEvnt.exe) and trigger another event, both servers now
see it.

Ipswich - please advise - this appears to be a bug and we cannot rely on
Windows Events until we can be sure Whatsup will see ALL events.

Regards,
Jason
