Okay, see if you can follow this....

I have a service setup on an APC device that if the temp goes high it
changes the icon (magenta) indicating a problem. I also have it scrolling
across the top of the web gui. This works great. What I want to know is
since this was an SNMP event and the data is contained in an SNMP trap (can
see it in the SNMP event log) and it lists the high temperature (say 90.5)
can I include that in the Service down message by either using an argument
or comment in the Monitor/Service property page?

This is what it looks like now:
............... ups0802a:APC-EM-HighTemp ..................

So that if a temperature goes above threshold and the service is tripped the
down device message will say something like:

............... ups0802a:APC-EM-HighTemp (90.5 degrees) ..................

Thanks!

Scott
