Reina,

Try restarting the whats up gold service. If anyone ever RD (remote desktops) into the server that WUG is running on make sure that they change their color settings to 256: otherwise you will need to restart the service again.

That should get you up and going. Enjoy

Subject: SV: [WhatsUp Forum] graphical maps in black when accesing web ser ver

Hi!

Sure, got lots of ideas. one is to check the Ipswitch KB...;-)

Another is to lower the graphics settings on the console to a lower value.

mne: [WhatsUp Forum] graphical maps in black when accesing web server

Hi all:

Im getting started with whatsup gold 8.02 in a Windows Server 2003 standar edition (Pentium 4, CPU 2.804GHz, RAM 1 GB )

Viewing the maps seems to be ok in the console, but when we access via web, we see the maps and the items in black. It seems like the web interface is not translating the colors properly.

Has anyone experienced this ? Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance,

Reina Gutiez
