Though that is an interesting solution - it is not the one I am
seeking.  There are many, many places in the web interface (a lot of
customized code) which can change settings - and if users had to wait
for a Save each time something was changed, the UI itself would become
a lot less friendly.

I am mostly interested in any synchronization or corruption
possibilities of iterating through all maps and saving each when say
http://<supserver>/AdminSaveAll.asp is called.
