But as an update my memory leak is still there. WhatsUpG.exe is at 142 meg this morning.

 

What a bummer….. Guess I’ll roll back to 03 and see is it is still there.

There is a Hot Fix 2 for WUG 8.03. You might want to try that.

WhatsUp Gold 8.03 Hotfix 2 addresses the following:

  • Fixed Buffer overrun for Notification instance names via the web interface
  • Fixed DoS issue when issuing a GET request for prn.htm via the web interface
  • Fixed memory leak when deleting or archiving logs
  • Fixed issue with Notifications not being processed in the order in which they were queued
