Let me clarify the "going back later on and reinstalling to import WUG data".  According to the release notes, it will take completely uninstalling WhatsUp Pro first:   http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/WP-20041110-DM01.htm Upgrading from WhatsUp Gold Upgrading from WhatsUp Gold to WhatsUp Professional must take place during the initial install of WhatsUp Professional.
