Yes you can.

If you run Install and select Upgrade, then your WhatsUp Gold MIB.TXT and
TRAPS.TXT will be copied into your WhatsUp Professional program directory (the
default copies will be renamed to MIB.UPG and TRAPS.UPG) and the traps will
then be imported.

You can run TrapImport.exe at any time in order to import new definitions.
Just make sure that:

a) The MIB.TXT and TRAPS.TXT that you wish to import are sitting in the WhatsUp
Professional program directory
b) The two files match. i.e., don't have a new TRAPS.TXT and an old MIB.TXT.
The only way that TRAPS.TXT entries have meaning is by the cross-references to
MIB.TXT entries.

I have tested with 1200 traps. The matching MIB.TXT was 1.5 MB compiled from
260 or so MIB files. Of course, some MIBs are big and some small. Some have
hundreds of traps and some have none at all.

Can I copy the old Mib.txt from my old install? I have hundreds of imported
mibs.
