Hi all. I am posting this question here because I have not been able to find what I am seeking, and am hoping someone out there has solved this 'need'. I hate re-inventing the wheel.
Currently I use a mix of WhatsUp, Nagios, MRTG etc for technical display of network status, performance etc. Recently, our management has requested a 'view' whereby they can see on a service-by-service basis what's up, what's down, what we're working on etc etc. Now, being management types, displaying a list of servers or IP services to them would be like displaying the synchronized swimming statistics…..useless. I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a decent tool which can display services such as "Email Systems", "Network Backbone", "Branch Office 1" etc etc in a pretty graphical web based display that these management people can quickly look at to see the status of the network? Any ideas?
