Did you ever come up with an alternative to achieve the same results?
We are looking at a couple of packages with no real breakthrough yet.

Hi James,

As far as I remember, we were never able to make this one really work.

There was one released by a fellow on the boards at one time. I still have
a copy, but the old links (see earlier spam) ;) are all dead.
Some claim to have made it work, others did not. I can send the plugin to
anyone interested in attempting to give it a shot.

Hallo James,

Lets try and help you . On the top of my head, I do not recall having seen a
working HTTPS plug-in for WUG. That does not mean there never was any.

Anyone else being able to help James out?

Thanks

Again I apologize for the hassle.

Let me try again to explain. I am obviously trying to use the HTTPS plugin
and am having difficulty. To that end, I did a "find" within my "WhatsUp
Discussion List" folder in GroupWise for related topics. Based on those
results, I replied to the folks who had participated in earlier discussions
in the topic to see if they had succesfully used the plugin and how.
Groupwise listed those to whom I replied as the senders of the emails listed
in my "find" operation. I, in good faith, replied to those people.
One
way or another (no I was not doing a "reply all") all of my notes went back
to the group, thus the apparent "spam".

I hope that clears this up, it was a mistake, nothing more.

Now, if anyone can actually assist with the plugin, or alternative ways to
monitor an HTTPS site ideally using WUG, I would greatly appreciate it.

James

Hi James,

Why are you spamming the forum? Your question could have been posted as one.

I apologize everyone. I was attempting to contact folks that worked on this
issue a while back. GW listed them as the sender, but apparently my notes
all went back to the list. No need to invoke Jeebus.

Hello,

I am revisiting HTTPS monitoring in WUG 8.01 and found your notes below in
the archives from Ipswitch. Did you ever use the plugin succesfully?
I am
not having any luck. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
