Go to the properties of each server and in
the Monitor section there is the option to “Check only if this Device is
up”.� Choose your switch or router and you should be fine.

Alerts in WUG
We use WUG v8.03 to monitor our network and servers
which are located in several remote area. And oftenly we have a down server
alerts (by e-mail) which caused by a down link (or router/switch). It's not
really "false alert", but we want to receive just one alert/email (for
example: from a down router) instead of 20-emails coming from servers.
Is
it possible to make such a mechanism ?
