I've got an APC UPS with a network mgmt card installed. It's repeatedly
sending SNMP traps that indicate a power module failure. THey are
reporting in the activity log every 10 minutes, even though the polling on
this map is every five minutes. Anyway, I was instructed to disable this
notification in WUG for now until the team could address the UPS issue.
So, on the device in WUG, I disabled SNMP, disabled any services being
monitored, there are no events to solicit, I am still monitoring the device
for up/down time, alerting is still enabled, and on alert properties ON
EVENT is unchecked. So the should be no SNMP traps coming from the APC UPS
to WUG; correct? So why are they still making their way to WUG?

Well, I think I've just found a cure, anyway. Connected to the network
card and disabled the WUG server as a trap receiver. So I've effectively
blocked the trap on both ends. Still can't figure out why they were still
showing up in WUG, though, in the first place..........
