I don't recall seeing this specific topic being posted anywhere yet, but then again, I missed a whole bunch back in the December time frame when our mail system purged my mail folder of all messages older than 30 days while I was gone for three weeks of vacation, so forgive me if this has been covered...
Anyway, under WUGv8.x, I have been able to successfully monitor the RADIUS service on our servers, however, under WUP2k5, this monitor is not working... What do I need to change to make this work?? WUP2k5 has this for a send: *--------------------------------------- Network Type: UDP (help says this is supposed to be UDP...??) Port Number: 1645 Timeout: 40 seconds Script: Send=\x01D\x00,0123456789012345\x01\x06TEST\x02\x12abcdefghijklmnop SimpleExpect=\x03D WUG v8.x has this for a send: *---------------------------------------- Port 1645 Time out 30 seconds Script: Send=%001D%000,0123456789012345%001%006TEST%002%018abcdefghijklmnop SimpleExpect=%003D The scripts look similar except for minor differences and I'm not sure how to translate the differences... Also, FWIW, the TELNET, FTP, and a couple of other default monitors had to have their timeout values changed from 5 seconds to 40 seconds like when we first started working with WUG here, and the imported "Whats Up Gold v.X" monitors needing the send statement changed so it would use the correct "wording", but I have not found a sucessful send for the RADIUS service yet which will work for our servers like the default RADIUS monitor under WUGv8.x does...
