What's really bad is they have released a new version of the software on 6/21
(WUP2k5 SP1a) and didn't make it known via this method for those of us who
prefer this type of communications to WEB based forums. Anyway, I discovered
the new released version notice when I visited their WEB site to do some
research on when the next release was supposed to be due out, as I've been out
of the loop for the last couple of months due to vacations and off-site
training requirements which has my e-mail a bit backed up at the moment (like
you, I'm ever so thankful for e-mail auto-rule processing as it keeps me
somewhat organized in how I tackle e-mail!). BTW, did you know WUP2KSP1 had an
SQL Injection Vulnerability in it? I didn't until I started going thru the
release notes for SP1a to see if this version would fix any of the numerous
issues I had with the product since it was released...

Here's the link to WUP2K support page where they have a link to the new release
in case you hadn't heard about it yet:

http://www.ipswitch.com/support/whatsup_professional/index.asp

God help those of us just tying to survive doing our jobs to the best of our
ability, if this is the way IPSwitch is going to operate it's online support
from here out - Good luck to you on the new release.

Ditto. I haven't even visited the web forum. I can easily filter out any
WhatsUp out-of-office replies. Takes a minute to create a rule in Notes.

Well, if this doesn't suck...not to mention it seems a bit draconian that
they exclude the e-mail list recipients from automated forum posting
delivery and instead make us waste our valuable time wading thru web based
forum messages while waiting on the view to refresh... all in the name of
eliminating un-wanted e-mail postings ("out of office replies").

FWIW, I rely almost exclusively on e-mail lists for those topics I wish to
keep abreast of as I can eliminate 90% of what I don't care and save those
message I do care about because they pertain to me and our specific
environment. I don't have time for WEB based browsing of support forums. I
fail to grasp why IPSwitch isn't mirroring the WEB forum messages onto the
What's Up Support List...<<??>>

IP Switch, care to comment?
