Which is why I see this in terms of division of labour. Cleaning it out
of HTML5 makes work elsewhere...

ps. (since i'm mailing again, sorry) ... in an RDF/XML context, we had
this issue in FOAF: we added 'depicts' alongside 'depiction' because the
old RDF/XML syntax didn't deal well with inverses
