How are you measuring that?For example, chapters in collections and articles are works and have titles, and those titles aren't typically distinguished with italics, at least in English.
"Titles of works are commonly distinguished from surrounding text" and "italics is a common format for many titles of works" would statements that would be hard to argue with.
