To post feedback to the WHATWG list, please subscribe first (and post from the same e-mail address as you subscribed from). We require this because of the level of spam the list would otherwise receive.
If you just want to submit drive-by feedback and aren't concerned about receiving a reply, you can also file a bug using the "review comments" tool found at the bottom right of the screen when viewing the spec: http://whatwg.org/html If you have any questions about any of this or if you want to send private feedback, please feel free to e-mail Ian at [email protected]. Thanks! Opnieuw-verstuurd-door: Eric Imthorn <[email protected]> Van: Eric Imthorn <[email protected]> Onderwerp: Proposal: implement a <usescookies> tag. Datum: 15 november 2012 21:52:33 CET Opnieuw-verstuurd-aan: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Aan: [email protected] Because of European legislation, all sites must warn users about the usage of cookies on the sites. Over 90% of European websites use cookies, which could make a "We use cookies" block become more common than a footer. So assuming the law is here to stay, this common mandatory block might as well get his own <usescookies> tag (or something in that nature). Another advantage is that browser-builders can implement an option to automatically "display:none" these elements (redering the whole legislation useless).
