The reason is that HBase 0.20.6 does not use the postfix. I'll check what
Cassandra does, but for now it is simply the missing part of
hbase_tar_url=http://archive.apache.org/dist/hbase/hbase-$HBASE_VERSION/hbase-${HBASE_VERSION}.tar.gz
and since 0.89 now uses "-bin" etc. suffixes I needed to put it somewhere else.
