+1 I've checked the file signatures and I've been able to run the unit tests and the integration tests on aws-ec2 and cloudservers (doing this multiple times in a month is getting expensive).
Apache Rat shows no warnings. Unfortunately I haven't been able to run mvn checkstyle:checkstyle Note: In order to run the integration tests for HBase on cloudservers I had to modifiy the src/test/resources/whirr-hbase-test.properties We should address this in 0.5.0. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIRR-233 Note: We no longer have a CLI uberjar in the release: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIRR-219 -- Andrei Savu On Thu, Mar 3, 2011 at 7:34 PM, Andrei Savu <[email protected]> wrote: > This is the first incubator release for Apache Whirr, version > 0.4.0-incubating. > > It fixes the following issues: > https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?atl_token=6724a5b05e7a6de128c2b0e1f463d031d2c91e0a&version=12316065&styleName=Html&projectId=12311110&Create=Create > > *** Please download, test and vote by March 7, 2011 > > Note that we are voting upon the source (tag), binaries are provided > for convenience. > > Source and binary files: > http://people.apache.org/~asavu/whirr-0.4.0-incubating-candidate-0 > > Maven staging repo: > https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachewhirr-004 > > The tag to be voted upon: > http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/whirr/tags/release-0.4.0-incubating > > Whirr's KEYS file containing PGP keys we use to sign the release: > http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/whirr/dist/KEYS > > Note that the Incubator PMC needs to vote upon the release after a > successful PPMC vote before any release can be made official. > > Cheers, > Andrei >
