I've bounced the idea around, and mulled it over. We will be doing night jumps both Friday, and Saturday evening, conditions permitting. We will require an absolute minimum of two prior jumps at AC DZ, and either previous night jump, or 100 jumps (so I just pulled those numbers out of the air, but they seems reasonable enough)
I have 4 or 5 flashing beacons, maybe another DZ has a few they can bring along. That said, we may not have need to fly more than one airplane so beacons may not be an issue. Oh yeah! Don't do anything stupid! If you have a "neat idea" and want to try it out on your night jump (or day jump for that matter) at AC DZ, run it by, at a minimum, at least one of the S&TAs on the airport! I've seen "neat ideas" turn into ambulance rides, and damaged airplanes. Get Set, Ready, GO!!!
