Eventually this could take us to a path where the distinction between stateful and stateless gets less important (certainly when we ever implement that Component url contribution thing I toyed with) and though that sounds scary, it doesn't have to be bad. People that let their session expire would only notice that their page is 'resetted', which typically wouldn't be a big deal to them. Do you think we need some kind of protection mechanism? Like if a page is in state X, it may not be reconstructed as a bookmarkable page? Maybe that's taking it too far. |
