Apache Con Europe 2007 is getting near. We have submitted for the Wicket project a couple of sessions:

  • Introducing Apache Wicket - was rejected.
  • Apache Wicket Tutorial - approved
  • Apache Wicket Community BoF

Introducing Apache Wicket

This is an introductory presentation for those that are not yet familiar with Wicket but want to learn more. This type of presentation has been given on JavaOne, JavaPolis, NLJug, etc.

Apache Wicket Community BoF

This is more of a get together for the Wicket community. Possible topics for this session are:

  • real-life projects built using Wicket
  • meet and greet
  • real-life experiences/best practices
  • discuss 2.0/2.1/3.0 roadmap
  • discuss other projects, such as wicket stuff
  • discuss the future of the wicket 1.x branch
  • ask the core team

  • Erik van Oosten, Finalist IT Group B.V. - RBRB, a system for finding company, real estate and contact data in several databases for the municipality of Amsterdam Sorry, its too expensive. I am not going.
