* Good: it's novel and sexier than our current look.

* Bad: I prefer old-skool scrolling. Yep, the banner disappears
because of that. But if I get to the point of reading on, I'll
remember that I'm reading about Wicket.

* Ugly: Not really ugly, but the orange part reminds me of a lump of
melted mcdonalds cheese :) I wonder how it would look if it were
simpler/ more symetrical.

Thanks for the initiative Martijn, and for the work Vincent/ Topicus.

As a last remark 'a java framework' is a bit cheesy (though at the
right place then ;)), and imo can just go completely. Just Wicket. And
it should be Apache Wicket.

All,

We are going to move to Apache, and with that we want to take a moment
and redesign our website. I think that Wicket's current website is
already much prettier than any of the TLP's websites features on
Apache, but we can take it to the next level.

I have found my employer (Topicus) willing to donate some designer time.

As a result Vincent (our designer) came up with the following two shots:

Let us know what you think of it: the good, the bad and the ugly...

Note, this is not a vote, just to see if we are in the right direction...
