Yes, and it didn't even remotely work for the project I'm working on.
Furthermore, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that after doing two
initial releases this project got forgotten/ abandoned whatever. It
also is LGPL licensed.
Also, if I remember correctly, Johan said he did get it to work, but
experienced that it was actually slower than normal JDK serialization.
